Rules

Please read. My rules are fairly simple, and I appreciate it if you follow them. :)
Most of my work is licensed as CC-BY-NC-3.0. This means that you can use/edit/display my images freely, provided you follow the restrictions and rules below:

1. A link to the image you used plus to me or my gallery is required in your image description or somewhere on the same page as the image. Please use :devAyelie-stock: and the http:// address for the image, so others can find the piece as well if they wish to see/use it.

2. Leave a comment on the image of mine you used or send a note with a link to your final work. If you want to post an image you created with one of my works or want to display my work somewhere other than deviantART, please send me a note letting me know where it's going to be posted.

3. My stock can be used in deviantART-only prints, AS LONG AS more work goes into it than just a recolour, retouch, photoshop action, texture overlay, etc. Let me know if you submit the image as a print, I might want to add it to my wishlist or purchase a print myself!

4. All traditional art or digital painting (NOT photomanipulation) using my stock as a reference can be sold anywhere without asking permission.

5. You may NOT redistribute any of my works without crediting me as the author and providing both a link to the original work on deviantART and to my deviantART page. Any redistribution or display without appropriate credit is against the law and violates copyright, and I will take action. Thank you.

6. :new: You may NOT create resources from my stock images. This means no brushes, premade backgrounds, lit templates, or any other resource offered for use, whether free or paid. My stock is to be used in art only.

Thank you for adding my picture to fav's:)
Hi. Just wanted to ask if you made a part 2 to your HDR from a single jpeg tutorial.

I'm having a sort of hard time finding it.

--
~Yours Truly
I haven't finished it yet, unfortunately. The partially-complete file was moved to my external harddrive during a cleanup and I don't have the harddrive with me right now :(

To look for tutorials on making the actual HDR by other people, see here. You'll need an HDR program, though; I use photomatix, which you can use for free in a trial version here, but the trial version puts watermarks on the image. There are some other free HDR programs that work fairly well and don't apply watermarks; googling "free HDR program" will probably find some more. Once you choose a program, searching for the program name on dA might show some tutorials for that specific one :)

If you have questions or need help feel free to ask, I'd love to help :D

Oh, hey. Would you mind sending me that first link again? It's not letting me click it.

--
~Yours Truly
I've already got a full version of photomatix.

I really just need some pointers on single jpg/raw image HDR. Tweeks and tips, that sort of thing. I've got a bunch of old jpeg images that I wanted to try and make into HDRs, and a new camera that shoots raw, but I just need to learn how to fully take advantage of it. =)

Your first tutorial was very helpful, and it wasn't bad to look at either. ;] That's why I asked about the second.
