Comments:
I put "sick" in the title because it seemed to fit best, but I'm pretty sure this grackle has "feather mites". They attack feather shafts and cause feathers to fall out- the birds can get rid of the mites by preening, but obviously can't preen their own heads, resulting in bald patches :(

Common Grackle, quiscalus quiscula. Apologies for graininess, it was in shade and the sun went behind the clouds :noes:
